Rapper, singer and actor Machine Gun Kelly has treated fans with the release of a surprise EP, dubbed lockdown sessions. The release arrives weeks before the musicians hotly-anticipated sixth studio album, mainstream sellout.

Offering up recordings of three viral hit tracks, the versatile release features roll the windows up, a fan-favourite cut previously known as smoke and drive, pretty toxic revolver and the musicians collaboration with PVRIS, in these walls (my house).

The rapper and Travis Barker took to social media last year to announce the record, sporting matching tattoos of the albums title, born with horns. However since then, MGK has had a change of heart, changing the albums title to mainstream sellout. The body of work continues the musicians collaborative efforts with Barker, with the Blink-182 drummer serving as the albums executive producer.

The multi-platinum recording artist has had a massive run of late, with his 2020 Platinum album Tickets To My Downfall 2020 Platinum album Tickets To My Downfall debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200, going on to bring home a slew of awards, including an MTV VMA, Billboard Awards for “Best Rock Album” and “Best Rock Artist” and an iHeart Radio Award. The musician has just headlined the 2022 NHL All-Star Game in Las Vegas, and will team up with Halsey for a Bud Light sponsored Super Bowl week at the Crypto.com Arena.
