Sydney based four-piece Loretta are back with their new single, Last Night. Bringing their signature blend of synth-pop with rock elements, the melodic track is all about that first chance meeting and empowering connection made. The four-piece bring catchy melodies atop guitar led grooves, captivating audiences with their gleaming sonics, with clear influence from The 1975.
Speaking of the track, the four-piece share: “Late Night recalls the events of the first 24 hours after you meet someone you’re completely infatuated with, a day in the life of any 20-something. Ellis [Hall] brought in the initial idea and after being inspired by a conversation he’d had with a friend. Once he got started the song pretty much wrote itself. The rest of us fleshed out the arrangement a few different ways until we landed on something we were happy with. Following that some of our very talented friends had some fantastic ideas that really brought it all to life.”
Forming in 2018, Loretta have dropped a string of feel-good singles, with their debut release, Come Over, gaining over 500,000 worldwide streams. To celebrate the launch of Late Night, the four-piece will take to the stage for an exclusive performance in Narrabeen, New South Wales.
