GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi has announced a national Australian tour for 2023! The tour will follow the release of the musicians hotly-anticipated sophomore album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent.

Kicking off at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on July 8, the run of shows will continue on to Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne, before crossing the Tasman for performances in Auckland and Wellington. The tour marks the musicians first arena tour of Australia, and will serve as the final leg of his world tour.

Having returned last month with Forget Me, Capaldi has today shared details of his sophomore outing, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, revealing the record is set to arrive next May. Across the body of work, the musician has enlisted longtime collaborators TMS, producer/songwriter Phil Plested (James Bay, Bastille), super-producer Max Martin (Taylor Swift, The Weeknd) and more. I don't want to create a new sound for myself, or reinvent myself,” Capaldi says of the album. “The songs I want to write are emotional songs, about love or loss.”

Fans won't have to wait until July to catch a glimpse of the musician down under, with Capaldi set to return to Sydney to co-host the 2022 ARIA Awards alongside music icon Natalie Imbruglia next month.
