Chart-topping singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Lauv has shared the visual for his latest single, 26. The track serves as the first glimpse into the musicians forthcoming sophomore album. Directed by Tobias Nathan (Alessia Cara, Miguel), the visual captures the anxious feelings that accompanied the musicians rise within the industry and the fame that followed.

Speaking of the track, the musician shares: “26 is the first song from my next album. It’s the moment I woke up and realized I needed to do some work to get back to the kid I was before my life and career got so crazy.”

The honest and vulnerable track brings the musicians signature conversational lyricism, the reflective nature of the song navigates the decisions and choices that led Lauv to this moment and the want to return to a time in life that was less complicated. Set atop hypnotic production and a sped-up guitar riff, the singers vulnerable vocals create moments of intimacy and reflection laced throughout.
