Sydney-based band LAHGO have shared their new single, Shallow Hellos. The song arrives alongside an official visual, directed by Genevieve Kaiser.
Described by front woman Mel Bailey as a taste of "Arctic Monkeys with a sip of Amy Winehouse", the track navigates a rollercoaster relationship with a hopeful outlook for the future. Bailey's mesmerising vocals captivate above an atmospheric guitar melody that builds towards an encompassing final chorus, built upon driving percussion.
Having recently competed in The Terrys Battle Of The Bands, the four-piece have supported the likes of Don West and Honey Haze, and have been slowly building their presence in Sydney's live music scene. The band are set to support Liquid Zoo at The Lord Gladstone on December 2 alongside The Blue Tongues.
