Sydney WorldPride just sprinkled a whole lot of sparkles on us, with the announcement Australia's Queen of Pop Kylie Minogue AO OBE will be headlining Live and Proud: Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert, presented by American Express.

Hosted by Casey Donovan and Courtney Act, and broadcast live around the nation on ABC TV, organisers have teased further exciting performers will be announced in the coming months. The concert will kick off Mardi Gras weekend, taking place at The Domain on Friday 24 February 2023. “For the first time ever, WorldPride is coming to the Southern Hemisphere. YES! I’m so excited to announce that I will be performing at the opening concert in Sydney on 24 February, 2023 at The Domain. Can’t wait to see you there!” Minogue says.

“Kylie is not only a beloved musician and rainbow icon, but the highest selling Australian-born solo artist of all time,” said Sydney WorldPride CEO Kate Wickett. “We are honoured and INCREDIBLY excited to have Kylie again stand with our community at Sydney WorldPride 2023 – the global rainbow family reunion we’ve been waiting for.”
