Rising artist KYE has treated us with her new single, Ribena.

Effortlessly weaving together sonic notes of R&B, garage and pop, the dynamic release is all about those initial feelings of falling in love, and the sweetness it brings. Just like everyones favourite blackcurrant-based soft drink, Ribena. The singers enticing vocals simmer above a textural soundscape, full of 2000's influences that will send you back in time and solidifies KYE as one of Australia's most exciting emerging artists.

“I have a long-time love affair with Ribena, so on a Saturday morning in a 7-11, when my crush and I reached into the fridge for that resplendent blackcurrant drink at the same time, I instantly fell in love. This song is about that gooey feeling in the pit of your stomach when you first fall for someone. That sweet, scintillating, sugar high.” KYE shares.

KYE is set to hit the road later this month, touring the country on the For The Love national tour. Kicking off on the Gold Coast on February 25, the travelling festival will continue on to Wollongong and Melbourne, before wrapping up in Perth on March 5. Charli XCX, Cosmo’s Midnight, Budjerah and more will also take to the stage at For The Love.

Last year, KYE continued her carve her own path within Australia's music scene, delivering her singles, Bossin and Clique. The singer supported Multi-ARIA award-winning Ghanaian-Australian artist, Genesis Owusu on his national tour, also serving as a backing vocalist during Owusu's set. She also supported her childhood heroes TLC, and appeared in the 2022 ARIAs tribute performance for beloved, homegrown superstar, Olivia Newton-John.
