KINGSWOOD SET TO TAKE OVER THE PALAIS THEATRE THIS JUNE!

KINGSWOOD are making their return to the stage, taking over the iconic Palais Theatre this June to celebrate their third studio album, Juveniles. Having been released as the COVID-19 pandemic swept the world, the band were robbed of the opportunity to tour the album, with their upcoming show providing the opportunity to perform the album as a full live experience. The four-piece will be joined by Cry Club, Shannen James (Solo) and Psychobabel.

“To be playing one of the biggest shows in the band’s history, at a venue that has been a bucket list headline dream, in a time where a worldly plague is causing so much chaos...feels like alchemy, feels wrong - the kind of wrong that you know is just so damned right. Taking place in the city we love, our city, Melbourne. The city that withstood, persevered, and succeeded. The best city in the world. It will be the event of the year and so say all of us!” Alex Laska of KINGSWOOD shares.

After delivering their career-defining, critically acclaimed album early last year, KINGSWOOD treated fans with a new side of their record Juvenile, releasing a re-imaged version of the 12 track album late last year. The four-piece also released a Christmas themed record, A Kingswood Christmas, which saw the band perform holiday favourites from Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald and Nat King Cole, paying tribute to the music that has soundtracked the festive season for decades.
