Watch out interview with Kinder!
Ghanaian-Australian sister duo Kinder have delivered their new EP, Yenko, full of dance-floor bangers to get you moving.
Featuring the previously released singles Come Along, Bus Stop and Rasta, the four-track release is rounded out by the EP's title track, Yenko. A fully-fledged party anthem, the song serves as a reminder to let go and cut loose, building to a sing-a-long chorus above massive organ bass work.
“The EP has been a real creative voyage, collaborating with different producers on each track. It’s a narrative for where we have come from and feels incredibly cathartic to explore the different themes and musical concepts in this EP. We feel like this is just the very beginning, the first chapter in our journey. Now we just want to throw a party and perform it for you” the duo share.
The empowering release also arrives just in time for Kinder's return to the stage. The sisters are set to perform at triple j’s Termi Takeover in Shepperton this Friday, before a headline show at Civic Underground in Sydney next month. The duo will then support Crooked Colours on their national tour, before taking to the stage at Summer Camp Festival in Sydney and Melbourne this November.
