Australian musician JOY. is back with her brand new single, Out Of Love. Written and produced by the singer, the release marks her first release since signing a global deal with Believe.

The ethereal release is built upon driving beats and dulcet piano melodies, as the singers vocals float above bewitching production. The song navigates letting go of past love and opening your self up to finding something new. Directed by Jack Toohey, the song arrives alongside an official visual, produced by Sure Studios. We meet the singer on a cliff’s edge as she ruminates on the demise of a relationship.

Out of Love at its simplest is a reflection on falling out of love with someone, realising the cup has emptied over time as you’ve both grown apart. It’s a bittersweet reminiscence of the past before moving on to a new future. In my process, I prefer to focus on the overall feeling-predominantly through non-lyrical sounds-so that each listener might find their own meaning. I wrote different parts of the song at different stages of my own life and hope it will mean different things to different people in theirs.”

“I’m very excited to be working with Believe to release my new music. It’s amazing to work with a business who are true music fans and champions of artists. They’ve given me the space and freedom to explore and evolve my sound and I can’t wait to share more” JOY. says of her signing to Believe.

Mick Tarbuk, Believe’s Country Manager for Australia & New Zealand, also commented on the signing,“I vividly recall seeing JOY. perform at Bigsound 2015. A team member at the time asked me, “of all the artists at Bigsound who would I want to work with the most?” My answer was JOY. Ever since launching our Artist Services model here at Believe, JOY. was at the very top of the list of artists we wanted to work with. We are beyond thrilled to welcome her to Believe, our Artist Services model is exactly what JOY. and team need to take this project to the next level globally.”
