Indie-rock musician Jade Bird premieres her latest single Houdini on Apple Music Radio & Zane Lowe. Houdini follows her previous single Head Start, taking a folk vibe finely tuned to showcase Bird’s bright and bold spirit. The single grasps the essence of her live performances, with breathtaking vocals that showcase an elegant element.
Jade reflects, “I’ve loved the word/concept for a really long time. All of a sudden, it seemed to be the perfect metaphor for the figures who had left my life in the past. I had no control or choice on their appearances and disappearances - sort of like the man himself.”
Having reached number one on the Billboard charts Jade Bird continues to excel with live performances including Newport Folk Festival, Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees and SXSW.
