Australian singer-songwriter Hollie Col recently unveiled her debut EP, Julia Stevens. We caught up with the musician to chat about the collection of songs, her forthcoming tour and so much more!
Serving as a documentation of love, the body of work explores the lifespan of a romantic relationship, and the rollercoaster ride present throughout. Touching on moments of toxicity and heartbreak, we're treated to introspective and conversational lyricism, with a particular focus on sexuality and representation. Col's warm and enchanting vocals captivate above guitar-infused pop soundscapes, weaving in subtle threads of indie-folk and 70's inspired sounds.
To celebrate the release, Col is hitting the road on a national tour. Kicking off in Brisbane on June 10, the run of shows will continue on to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, before wrapping up in Perth on July 16. Tickets are on sale now.
