THIS THAT's lineup just got even bigger, with ARIA award-winning rapper Illy set to appear at the festivals Newcastle and Sandstone Point editions this October and November! Having just dropped his sixth studio album, The Space Between, the musician charted at #95 in the 2020 triple j Hottest 100 for his collaboration with G Flip, Loose Ends.
With the festival being rescheduled from February to October/November, the complete homegrown Aussie talent lineupis topped with the nations’ favourite dance-floor fillers. Crossing electronic, hip hop, pop and rock, THIS THAT is going back-to-back in 2021 with plans to hold the festival in both February and October/November next year to make up for 2020’s cancellation. Featuring on next years lineup is acts like Hayden James, Crooked Colours, Dune Rats, The Chats, Client Liaison, Mallrat, Jack River, San Cisco and so many more!
There’ll also be exclusive performances in each state with The Rubens and Haiku Hands appearing exclusively in Queensland, while WHAT SO NOT, Confidence Man, ChillinIT and The Chats will be taking to the stage in Newcastle.
With extensive forward planning already in place, last week the festival released a COVID 19 ticketing plan, including information on how ticketholders will be affected in the event of capacity restrictions or postponement. Final release tickets are on sale now!
