Australian / English duo HUX have unveiled the animated visual for their latest single, Headrush. Bringing their signature irresistible rhythms to the song, Headrush is an infectious acoustic guitar led track that showcases the duos musicianship and lyrical mastery.

Speaking of the track, the duo share: “It’s about that feeling of excitement you get in the early stages of being with someone, and being able to feel the same way over time. It was framed romantically but it’s definitely acknowledging gratitude for the people who are constants in an ever-changing world.”

The songs visual is an animated journey that documents a night of adventure after a chance meeting at a bar. Created by Hetti L, the clip even features an animated cameo from HUX.

After being discovered by Toby Smith of Jamiroquai, who started developing and recording the duo straight out of school, HUX have spent their time touring London’s most coveted music venues, landing a support slot for Robbie Williams at Camden’s Roundhouse. The pair also came second in a national competition last year

for Hoax, judged by Cenzo Townsend (Kaiser Chiefs, U2), Joe Rubel (Ed Sheeran) and Jesse Quinn (bass player for Keane). Drawing on a vast array of influences, it was John Mayer in particular who broadened their musical horizons, guiding them towards an appreciation for the complex and captivating nature of pop music. Australian music

also plays an important role in their lives, enchanted by the nostalgia from listening to the melodies of their youth.
