In the lead up to the release of their third studio album, Brain Candy, Hockey Dad have announced that they have created their own ‘Brain Candy’ breakfast cereal. The album bundle will be delivered to fans in NSW via contactless delivery.

“We believe all Australians are entitled to an imbalanced breakfast made with 97% whole-brains and we intend on making sure they get it”, said Billy Fleming of Hockey Dad.

The breakfast cereal comes with a copy of the bands new album, as well as some exclusive Hockey Dad merchandise. Fans in Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and all areas in between could be in for a shock when their cereal arrives on their doorstep. The band will select up to 50 households within the region and hand deliver the cereal bundles themselves.

“The Brain Candy brekky bundle is actually a copy of our new album and a whole bunch of exclusive Hockey Dad merch packaged in a collectable breakfast cereal box”, said Zach Stephenson. He clarified the cereal is edible, “there is some actual edible Brain Candy in there, and who are we to say you shouldn’t tip the lollies into a cereal bowl and pour some milk over it?”.

The band have also announced an exclusive live-stream of their first ‘Alive At The Drive-In’ show exclusively on YouTube. The show and live-stream will take place on Bran Candy’s release day, with fans from all over the world able to tune in online from 8.15pm AEST, July 31.

Final tickets are on sale now for the second drive-in show here. The bands rescheduled Brain Candy Tour kicks off in April next year, with tickets still available for shows in Brisbane, Fremantle and Adelaide.
