Sydney-based artist Hearteyes has made his return, unveiling the first taste of his forthcoming mixtape Headbangers 2, with the release of ELECTROBOY. On the track, the musician enlists Australian producer Jordon Alexander, better known as Mall Grab.

Speaking of the track, the musician shares: The song is a namesake to the novel ‘Electroboy’ by Andy Behrman, a biography that traverses the nuances of bipolar’s peaks and troughs. The song basically talks about running away from one’s problems and disappearing for days to weeks with no word of warning to anyone. While selfish to observers, the protagonist treats it as a pilgrimage to self enlightenment, using past memories and experiences to outline a map to where one must travel to achieve happiness and normality.

ELECTROBOY arrives alongside an official visual, which takes viewers on a scenic trip across the Icelandic Coast, through the implementation of footage taken from Google Maps.

Headbangers 2 is set to feature a number of further collaborations, with Hearteyes tapping Australian punk-pop artist Up Late, French artists Brodinski and COUCOU CHLOE and Helix Tears member 8485.
