Acclaimed Sydney producer Hayden James has treated us to new music with the release of his new single, Good Life. Written alongside Nathan Nicholson (Kygo, Gryffin, Calum Scott, Claptone), the producer enlists London-based artist Emie.
"It’s all about being present in the moment and allowing that positive force in your life to lift you up when you’re feeling down. Nathan, Emie and I wrote this record in the summer this year over a couple of zoom sessions from Nashville to London then finished the track off in Ibiza for the summer vibes. I hope you love it. This one feels special." James shares of the track.
Good Life follows the release of the producers hotly-anticipated sophomore album, LIFTED, earlier this year. Serving as a message of hope at the end of a lengthy two years, the energetic collection of songs captures the electric energy of the musicians live show, inspired by his longing to return to return to the stage and create shared experiences. Threading a message of positivity throughout, songs across the record serve as a to hold on to each other through life's harder times, and to be true to yourself. Bringing together his own holy trinity of house influences, piano-house, melodic house and deep house across the body of work, LIFTED presents itself as a curated body of work that will lift your spirits.
