British superstar Harry Styles has postponed his Australian tour, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The tour was set to kick-off in Sydney this November and would mark the first performance of Styles’ Love On Tour 2020 tour. Whilst no re-scheduled dates have been announced, Styles and his Australian promoter Live Nation have assured fans new tour dates will be announced soon.
Taking to social media, Styles shared the following statement: “Everyone’s health and safety remains our top priority, which is why I unfortunately have to postpone all 2020 shows in South America, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand until further notice. I really hope to play the shows as planned for 2021 but will continue to monitor the situation over the coming weeks and months. I can’t wait to see you all on the road as soon as it’s safe to do so.”
Selling out in minutes, Styles was set to hit the road to promote his critically acclaimed 2019 album, Fine Line. With all of the singers 2020 tour dates having been postponed, Styles will finally take to the stage in February next year. The tour will now kick off Italy and continue through Europe, before Styles takes the tour to North America.
