Australian rockers Hands Like Houses have announced they're hitting the road next year! Embarking on a tour like they never have before, the band will be bringing a reimagined live experience to venues in NSW, QLD and their hometown of Canberra early next year. The Reflect Tour will kick off in Sydney in January next year, ending in Canberra later that month.
Speaking of the conceptual nature of the tour, Hands Like Houses vocalist Trenton Woodley shared: ”The 'Reflect' Tour is a chance to slow down, take a breath and reflect on the challenges this year has presented, using that experience to inform a new take on the music it's produced, the opportunities it's given and the things that we've missed the most. These COVID-safe shows are our first real opportunity to return to live music in a way that doesn't reject the 'new normal' but embraces it wholly, with a reimagined set and a uniquely intimate HLH experience."
The band recently released their new self-titled EP, which features the singles Space, The Water and Dangerous. The EP navigates themes of collisions, resolutions, communication and expression, exemplifying confidence and vulnerability. Throughout the tumultuous year that is 2020, Hands Like Houses have been keeping busy by performing various lifestreams for their fans, whilst also giving a phenomenal performance of Fuel’s Shimmer for triple j's acclaimed Like A Version segment.
