Sydney-based artist Go-Jo has treated us with the release of his new single, Mrs Hollywood. Having teased the track across his social media platforms, the musician has earned over 160,000 new followers on Instagram, and over 5 million views on his TikTok video using a snippet of the song.

Built atop a bubbling bass line and ear-worm guitar melody, his compelling vocals bring vivid lyricism to life as he navigates a long-distance flame that keeps slipping through his fingers. The musical project of Marty Zambotto, Mrs Hollywood is the latest in a string of singles from the artist, delving deeper into his pop-meets-rock sound and delivering a cut that will be stuck in your head for days.

Speaking of the song, the musician shares, “the track came about while trying to express the feelings of pining over after a distant love geographically or emotionally, however when I was expressing the emotional message in the songs it felt right to transform the lyrics into an upbeat catchy song, representing her confident, and mysterious nature.”

To celebrate the release, Go-Jo will be hitting the road on a national tour. Kicking off at Rosemount Hotel in Perth on May 6, the tour will continue on to Brisbane's Black Bear Lodge, Canberra's Smiths Alternative and Melbourne's The Curtain, before wrapping up at Waywards in Sydney on May 20. Supported by Portair and Corrj, tickets are on sale now!
