After being forced to cancel the festival for the second year in a row due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Glastonbury's virtual event is going full steam ahead! The global livestream from Worthy Farm will allow fans worldwide to join in on the fun and experience Glastonbury, whilst also supporting the festivals three main charitable partners, Oxfam, Greenpeace and WaterAid.
George Ezra and Róisín Murphy have just been announced as special guests, taking to the stage slongside Coldplay, Damon Albarn, HAIM, IDLES, Jorja Smith, Kano, Michael Kiwanuka, Wolf Alice, plus DJ Honey Dijon and other very special guests. With a line up like that, we're in for a treat! Further surprise guests will appear throughout the livestream, with the event filmed across the Festival’s Worthy Farm site at landmarks including the Pyramid Field and the Stone Circle, the live-stream will capture the Glastonbury we all know and love.
The uninterrupted five-hour extravaganza will also feature a unique spoken word narrative, provided by PJ Harvey, Jarvis Cocker, Kae Tempest, George The Poet, Kurupt FM, Little Amal and Festival founder Michael Eavis.
