Iconic American rock band Evanescence have unveiled the visual for their new track, Better Without You taken from their new album, The Bitter Truth. The release comes alongside the announcement of a livestream concert, presented by Cooper Tires and hosted by Alice Cooper.
The visual sees the band continue their collaborative efforts with film-maker Eric D. Howell (Ana’s Playground, Voice From The Stone) who also directed the visual for their previous single, Use My Voice. The track itself serves as a good riddance to all the doubters and cheats of the world, leaving them behind and moving forward.
Bringing their signature heavy sound to the new collection of songs, there is an underlying thread of hope and empowerment threaded throughout the collection of songs, with a resounding message that perseverance through dark times is better than giving up. The Bitter Truth documents a number of personal tragedies faced by band members, including the unexpected passing of frontwoman Amy Lee’s brother and the sudden loss of a child by bassist Tim McCord.
The Driven to Perform Livestream Concert is set to take place next month, with the free concert stream including several songs from The Bitter Truth performed live for the first time. Fans can tune in at 11am AEST Time on May 14th via here.
