Dylan J has made his grand return, enlisting Aussie hitmaker Ruel on Notice Me.

Co-written by the duo and produced by 2x GRAMMY nominated Tele Fresco (Lizzo, Leon Bridges), the emotive release brings the childhood friends together, with their harmonic and raw vocals taking centre stage. Notice Me is an introduction to Dylan J's vocal ability, belting out on the songs hook to prove he's more than just a rapper.

Of the collaboration, Dylan shares, “Ruel and I have been friends for 6 years and we always talked about making a song together. So it’s definitely time we released one.” Ruel adds “we wrote this song when Dyl was staying at my family’s house around 2-3 years ago. We went in to my little makeshift studio (which only really had a laptop and speakers) then tried to make something we both related to.”

The release arrives alongside an official visual, which places the pair within a variety of settings, from baby sitting and pumping weights at the gym, to painting masterpieces and greasing up a motorbike. Of the Emma Zoller directed visual, Dylan says, “We built most of the concept for this music video together, on the way to FOMO festival in Sydney. Kevin Abstract reached out to Ruel to link up at the festival and I was just tagging along, also helping Ruel get his hours up on his L’s.”
