The band have announced a virtual exhibition of custom upcycled THE GLOW vinyl covers

DMA'S are celebrating the first anniversary of their 5 x ARIA nominated third studio album THE GLOW. The trio are set to launch an online exhibition. featuring artworks created from the packaging of damaged colour vinyl pressings of the record.
These damaged vinyl sleeves were left in the capable hands of four visual artists: Arkie Barton, Leif Podhajsky, Matty D’arienzo and Serwah Attafuah. With nine vinyl sleeves sent to each artist, Barton, Podhajsky, D’arienzo and Attafuah were left to their devices to create original bespoke pieces to rehouse the undamaged tri-colour vinyls. The one-of-a-kind vinyl sleeves will be released as part of THE GLOW UP, exhibited via a virtual gallery from today for fans worldwide. All 36 pieces will go on sale at 6pm AEST on Wednesday 7th July 2021 to mark the momentous anniversary of the record.
Having just been nominated for 3 x AIR Awards (Independent Album Of The Year, Best Independent Rock Album, Best Independent Dance, Electronica Or Club Single for ‘Criminals (The Avalanches Remix’)) in addition to their 3 x top #10 ARIA albums, 9 x ARIA-nominations, and multiple ARIA Platinum and ARIA Gold, THE GLOW continues to be one of the bands most iconic releases. THE GLOW was recorded at the historic Westlake Recording Studios in Hollywood and mixed by multi-Grammy Award winning producer Stuart Price, famously known for working with The Killers, New Order and Madonna to name a few.
The three-piece will return to Aussie stages later this year, marking their first run of shows since their Unplugged & Intimate residency in Sydney last year. Kicking off in Adelaide on September 24, the tour will continue on to Fremantle, Brisbane and Melbourne, before wrapping up with a hometown show in Sydney on October 9.
