Their new record ENERGY is out this Friday!

With the release of their anticipated new album ENERGY dropping this Friday, English electronic duo Disclosure are treating fans with a new immersive meta-verse within video game, Minecraft.
The duo teamed up with design collective Blockworks and Island Records to create a new virtual world inspired by their new record. This Friday, fans can join Disclosure's dedicated server within the video game, to discover a square mile of rolling hills, roiling streams, and dark caverns. These landscapes all culminate in a mosaic that is set to replicate the earthy cover art of the new record. If that wasn’t enough, exploring the caves within the virtual world will lead fans to three underground clubs inspired by iconic venues around the world.
Made up of 100 million blocks, fans have only one week to explore the new world. After seven days, a version of the Minecraft map will be available for download. During the week, the land itself will transform and evolve. Change and evolution are themes present on ENERGY as well as environmental concerns like reforestation and ocean repopulation. Whilst entering the visual world, fans can undertake some some digital crate-digging, exploring for hidden treasures such as thirteen hidden records which includes 8-bit reworks of some of Disclosure’s biggest tracks. The duo have also created a megamix, featuring material from the new record as well as their most loved tracks, that will soundtrack viewers experiences whilst they explore the server.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Disclosure have continued to find ways to bring music to their fans. The duo have live-streamed from member Guy Lawrence’s kitchen, hosted tutorials on Twitch, and partnered with Cercle to perform live from a cliff in Croatia.
Celebrating ten years since the release of their debut single, Brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence are keeping the momentum with their new record. On ENERGY, the duo collaborated with the likes of Mick Jenkins, Channel Tres, Kehlani, Kelis and many more.
