Aussie superstar Delta Goodrem and dance floor sensation DJ Tigerlily are joining forces with Lifeline, taking to TikTok for a two-day series of LIVE streamed fundraising events. Dubbed LIFELINE LIVEFEST, the event is set raise funds to train more volunteers for the service's crisis hotline, whilst also offering a much needed burst of live music amidst national lockdowns.
Speaking of the event, Goodrem shares: “So many people are going through a really hard time right now and it’s important to me to let people know that they are not alone. I am happy to be a part of this worthy initiative and look forward to bringing some joy and positivity through my LIVE performance on TikTok."
DJ Tigerlily adds, "I am really excited to be a part of the LIFELINE LIVEFEST event on TikTok to raise awareness and funds for Lifeline Australia. While social activity may be restricted for many Australians, it's a blessing that we are still able to stay connected through technology. The livestream I'm hosting will allow people to experience the joy that live music brings, and will hopefully open conversations up about mental health and raise much needed funds. With all the uncertainty and chaos in the world, there has never been a more important time to check in with yourself as well as your friends and family. It is crucial for others to know that thanks to Lifeline, you won't ever have to go through your darkest moments alone."
Fans will be able to tune into the event this Saturday and Sunday, via each artists' TikTok accounts.
