As they gear up for the release of their sophomore album, Moonbow, Perth indie four-piece Death by Denim have your back with a brand new track, and the announcement of a national tour!
The track continues the bands exploration of 70's soft rock, implementing acoustic based sonics that provide an atmospheric realm beneath Nik Iliadis's spellbinding vocals. Conceptually, the song recalls on timeless memories and relationships that hold weight, however fleeting they were, dissecting their validity and importance.
“Moving into the second album we wanted things to evolve and feel different without trying to redefine our sound completely. Feels Like Fiction was one of the first we recorded that found us moving in a refreshing new direction, stripping things back a touch and adding some acoustic elements to create more space. It set the tone for a new wave of songs to come.” the four-piece share of the track.
Kicking off in Perth on March 19, the tour will continue on to Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Wollongong, Brisbane, and Byron Bay, before coming to a conclusion on the Sunshine Coast on April 9. The band will also perform at Yours & Owls 2022, with the tour will mark the live debut of tracks from their sophomore effort. Tickets are on sale now.
