Gold Coast-based artist, David Mac has returned with his sophomore single, Nobody But You, gifting us all with a brand new alt-R&B banger as the new year begins.
The atmospheric track weaves Mac's hypnotic vocals within a spatial and atmospheric soundscape, driven by hypnotic beats and dimensional melodies. Conceptually, the song explores falling in love with someone who radiates an intense energy that draws you in, and leaves you feeling whole.
"Making this song was so much fun. I put my heart and soul into it- the production, the vocals, the lyrics. Hearing this track complete for the first time made me realise how far I've come, and how much my artistry has grown and will continue to evolve; and for that, I'm so proud of it."
Influenced by the likes of The Weeknd, Mansionair, Billie Eilish and Frank Ocean, Mac has been forming his own path within the local scene, performing at venues across the Gold Coast as a solo artist, and as a member of New Age Notion. Nobody But You is just the first taste of music from the musician, leaving listeners wanting more.
