New-York born, Sydney-based artist, Danté Knows has shared his new single, LOST YOUR MIND. The release arrives alongside the announcement of the musicians sophomore EP, VICIOUS, set to arrive this November.
Opening with spatial and atmospheric sonics, Knows semi-spoken vocals lure you in as the track erupts into an indie-rock based chorus led by glistening guitar melodies and driving percussion. Throughout the track, the musician recalls on moments from his formative years that have led to the present, sending a message to stay true to yourself and carve your own path in life no matter the circumstances.
“I was in a mood the day we wrote this track. Joey P & myself started out the skeleton as we waited for everyone else to slowly drip into the lair. As they entered, I witnessed everyone play a role in defining where its at today. I felt like this was the day I killed the middle man, the day I decided to fire the over-thinker who sat in between my hopes & execution. At this point I was on another level of confidence.” the musician shares.
Knows will embark on an east coast tour later this year, kicking off on November 25 in Sydney. The run of shows will continue on to the Gold Coast and Brisbane, before wrapping up in Melbourne on December 10. Tickets are on sale now!
