Nashville musician Danny G is here to get you moving with the visual for his latest single, reeboks. The track is a celebration of women paving their own way, carving out their own journey, with the musicians inspiration for the song being his partner.
Filmed in Atlanta, the visual sees the musicians partaking in a match of tennis against his love interest, played by Adeline Troutman. As he pulls out all the stops to not only win the match, but the heart of Troutman, we come to realise the object of his affection is actually his competitors sleek new pair of Reebok trainers. The musician partnered with the iconic shoe brand for the release, running giveaway competitions in conjunction with the tracks release.
Speaking of the visual, Danny shares: "“We framed the entire video to make it appear as if I was enamoured by a girl but it's then revealed that the whole time it was her classic reeboks that were catching my interest. I'm pumped for people to check out the video, it's definitely another side of me that nobody's really seen yet. It's one thing to sing behind a mic, but being up in front of that camera is a whole different energy that I'm looking forward to exploring more in the future.”
Danny G seamlessly fuses together pop and hip hop, creating a genre he himself has dubbed 'flow pop'. Having released records throughout 2019 with artists such as Xuitcasecity and Cam Meekins, the musician found himself working with Gym Class Heroes frontman, Travie McCoy.
