Legendary Irish troubadour Damien Rice has announced his 2023 Australian tour. The run of shows will see the musician play theatres across the country.

Kicking off at Sydney Opera House on May 12, the tour will then visit Melbourne's Hamer Hall, Geelong's Costa Hall, Hobart's Odeon Theatre and Brisbane's Concert Hall QPAC, before a finale at HOTA Theatre on the Gold Coast. An exclusive Frontier members pre-sale will commence from Thursday 16 February at 1pm local time, before general public tickets go on sale on Friday 17 February at 2pm (local time).

Having begun his career as a member of Juniper, Rice earned acclaim with his 2002 debut solo album O. He's since released two follow up records, 2006's 9 and 2014's My Favourite Faded Fantasy, and has garnered a reputation for his powerful live shows.
