Last night, Sydney was transported back to the 1920's for the Australian premiere of Damien Chazelle's epic film, Babylon. Stars Margot Robbie, Diego Calva, Samara Weaving and Phoebe Tonkin took to the red carpet at The State Theatre, greeting fans and sharing stories of film itself.
Also starring Brad Pitt, Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li and Jean Smart, Babylon is a glimpse into the past. Set in 1920's Los Angeles, the film follows the glamorous and tumultuous lives of film icons as they find themselves displaced due to the transition from silent films to talkies and the decadence that surrounds them.
