CROOKED COLOURS MAKE THEIR RETURN WITH 'NO SLEEP'

Acclaimed Australian indie-dance trio Crooked Colours are back with another incredible banger, No Sleep. The track is set to appear on the groups third studio album, due out later this year.

Fusing together influences of indie, house, and pop, the track is built upon a driving bass line and lush synth chords. Frontman Phil Slabber’s signature vocals float above the songs sonics, captivating listeners and drawing them in whilst navigating a one-sided relationship.

"We've always tried to meld emotional lyric content with dance production ideas and No Sleep is a perfect example of that,” Slabber shares. “At the heart of it, the song is about someone who treated a relationship with a sort of arrogant nonchalance and didn't truly appreciate it until it's too late. It serves as a reminder to hold on to the good things we have and to not take them for granted."

The trio are currently in the midst of their east coast tour, having already performed three sold-out shows at Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall. The tour will continue on to Sydney for four mammoth sold-out performances before heading to Hobart and Melbourne. Crooked Colours have also just announced a show at 3 Oceans Winery, Margaret River, performing as part of the Here Comes the Sun Concert Series program.
