North London creator Sam Tsang has delivered his debut EP, Kwong, alongside a visual for his track Forever.
Written, produced and performed by Congee, the body of work continues his dynamic exploration of captivating genre-blurring sonics, perfectly simmering beneath Tsang's captivating vocals. Previous singles Honest, penned as an ode to his grandmother, and Be Alright, which explores the relationship between the musician and his mother, join four new offerings, This Is Me, Left Around, Forever and Bao.
“Forever is a song where I talk about love. The excitement of it. The confusion of it. Sometimes the lack of it. I'm still trying to get my head around it,” Congee shares of his latest single. The songs animated visual follows a young boy as he attempts to learn to fly, ultimately learning the power of commitment and persistance.
Having written and collaborated with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Sigrid, Maisie Peters and Griff, Tsang took a more solo approach to writing and crafting the songs set to appear on Kwong. Almost entirely producing, writing, recording and performing everything on the EP himself, the collection of songs documents the musicians own family life.
