Sydney-based artist Chanel Loren is keeping the hits coming with her new track, F4U. The release arrives weeks after the singer took home FBi’s SMAC Award for Song Of The Year for Playlist.
Delving deeper into her established alt-R&B sound, Loren's mesmerising vocals float above hypnotic production and beats that draw the listener in. Relatable lyricism brings to life the tropes of a one-sided relationship, with the singer looking past the red flags to instead hold on to a relationship heading towards its demise.
“I wrote F4U in reflection of a relationship where I ignored all of the red flags. I told myself the next time I get into a relationship, I’m not falling on my face anymore, that person has to catch me.” the singer shares of the track.
Having made her debut earlier this year with Playlist, Loren has gone from strength to strength which each release, claiming her place as one to watch with with a string of singles under her belt. The singer recently made her live debut at BIGSOUND 2022, the southern hemisphere’s biggest celebration of new music
