Sydney pop duo Cat & Calmell have shared dropped their new track, Dramatic. The track was produced by WA-born Hauskey and mixed by Justin Hergett (FINNEAS, Ashe) and is accompanied by a music video, directed by Louis Brandt
Complete with biting lyrics and an assured, confident energy, the song was written during a period of reflection on the current climate crisis. Of the release, the duo say: “Dramatic is one of our favourites! We wrote this song as a way to express our frustration at the people in power and their complacency with the state of the world, it's a cry of frustration from our generation to theirs and we hope it resonates and you think it’s a good jam!”
The two singers met at a young age at an after-school program for developing artists. Since then, the duo have been inseparable, performing together regularly, appeared on television singing competitions and have been slowly building their fanbase. Now, the duo are taking the conversations they have not only together, but with their fans online, and are creating their own realm in which their music exists.
