American singer CAPPA has unveiled the visual her new single, Colder. Set to feature on the singers forthcoming EP, the infectious track shines atop sparkling synths and snappy pop grooves. Bringing her signature honeyed vocals to the track, the Colder navigates the residual emotions and thoughts after the demise of a relationship.
The neon-hued music video was directed by Bradley Dunn and filmed at The Barracks in LA. “The inspiration behind the video was to create a world where it felt like a relationship was ending," CAPPA shares of how the video brought the songs emotionally-charged lyricism to life.
Bursting onto the scene in 2015 with her debut single Hush, CAPPA dropped her debut self-titled EP and went viral with a rendition of TLC’s No Scrubs. In 2016 she released her sophomore EP, Queen of Hearts, produced by Dylan Bauld (Halsey, Misterwives, Liam Payne). Queen of Hearts landed the singer critical acclaim, cementing her as a fresh new artist to watch.
CAPPA is now gearing up to release a new EP, complete with brand new pop banger. Pushing through the various struggles of being an independent artist, the release is set to be well-rounded collection of fun yet heartfelt tracks that are sure to dazzle fans both new and old.
