Having worked behind the scenes within the industry, Eva Pattison is taking centre stage, serving some dark anti-pop to feed the senses with her new musical project, BUFFY.
The Melbourne based artist is bursting onto the scene with her debut single, Cruel. Mastered by Leon Zervos (Robyn, Rhianna), the dark track conceptually navigates themes of a toxic love,
Speaking of the track, the singer shares: “I wrote Cruel to give voice to the idea that what’s not good for you can still be deliciously, magnetically attractive, in a so wrong it must be right kind of way. I’m so excited to have it out of my weird brain and into the cosmos!”
The singer draws inspiration from all artistic spheres, finding inspiration from the work of painters, fashion designers, authors and poets, hoping to capture the essence of all these art forms to feed her songwriting.
