BUFFALO PARADISE SHARE NEW SINGLE 'GUNFIGHT'

Watch our interview with Buffalo Paradise below!

Sydney-based indie-rockers Buffalo Paradise are keeping the hits coming with their new single, Gunfight. To celebrate the new track, the five-piece will return to the stage next Friday night at Waywards, with tickets on sale now!

On their latest offering, Buffalo Paradise bring a more solemn approach to their indie-rock stylings, navigating mental health and feeling displaced as the world changes, brought to life by frontman Lachie Pringle's impassioned vocal performance. The release arrives alongside an official visual, directed by the bands frequent collaborator Joel Ludemann. Bringing their signature comedic approach to the visual, we follow the Pringle as he goes on the lam, whilst his fellow band mates hunt him down for justice.

Gunfight is a song about mental battles in an ever-changing and uncertain world. Through COVID lockdowns, I constantly found myself living in a world where my profession no longer existed. I found that I was way less prepared for that than I thought I would be. The metaphor of the song is essentially about bringing a knife to a gunfight.” Pringle shares of the track.

Made up of Pringle, Angus Armstrong ,Chris Armstrong, Rory McDougall and Naren Iyer, Buffalo Paradise came to be after a chance meeting between Lachie and Angus in 2019. Soon after, Angus enlisted his brother Chris, and Rory and Naren found their way into the band. Having made their debut last year with their self-titled debut single, the band capped off the year with a sold-out show at Sydney's The Chippo.
