Emerging Darkingjung/Central Coast artist BOY SODA has dropped his first track of the year with BIG. The musician has also announced a headline show, taking place at Sydney’s Lansdowne Hotel on April 7th, marking one of the final live performances to take place at the venue before its closure weeks later.

The musical project of Brae Luafalealo, the musician is taking us deeper into the world of BOY SODA with another dynamic cut that'll become your new mantra. The song serves as a reminder to stay present and acknowledge our purpose is significant, no matter how big or small we may feel. Continuing his captivating exploration of R&B sonics, Luafalealo effortlessly weaves between captivating flows and bright soaring vocals.

“I wanted to zoom as far out from myself as possible, so that I could reignite a sense of purpose as I also looked at myself closely in all the verses. I catch myself overthinking a lot, so this song is what those thoughts look like if I leave them uninterrupted” says BOY SODA of the new single. “I love that the chorus shifts and lifts to an unexpected place because it allows the song to exist more universally. A hook like that, with fairly dense verses just makes sense and I enjoy showing my range in that way.”

Since making his way onto the scene in 2019, BOY SODA has gone from strength to strength. Having opened for Dominic Fike at the Converse x Camp Flog Gnaw event, the musician has dropped a string of bangers which caught the attention of his new label home, Warner Music Australia. Along with the announcement of his signing, the musician shared LOVEU2BITS, which served as a celebration of love and the time spent with those who matter the most. Luafalealo is currently finalising his debut EP, following the release of LOVEU2BITS and WELCOME TO THE GLOW UP.
