Australian chart-topping and ARIA-award winning act Boy & Bear have shared another taste of their forthcoming self-titled fifth studio album with Silver Moon. The release arrives alongside the announcement of a number of album launch events across the country.
Kicking off the festivities, the band will host in-store appearances where they'll be meeting fans and performing songs from their new album at Rocking Horse Records in Brisbane on May 26, Red Eye Records in Sydney on May 29 and Oh Jean Records, Melbourne on May 31. The five-piece will also hit the stage at Sydney's Lansdowne Hotel on May 29 and Melbourne's Northcote Social Club on May 30 for two intimate evenings where they'll chat with Linda Marigliano and Bridget Hustwaite about the record, take questions from fans and perform a few songs.
This June, Boy & Bear will embark on a national tour in support of their fifth studio album. Commencing Melbourne's Palais Theatre on June 16, the run of shows will continue on to Brisbane, Sydney and Perth, before wrapping up in Adelaide at Hindley Street Music Hall on July 15. The band will also visit Wellington and Auckland on June 23 and June 24 respectively. Supported by Boo Seeka and Felivand, tickets are on sale now!
Speaking of the latest offering, frontman Dave Hosking shares: “I think ultimately this song is about feeling loved and supported by so many people in my life but still feeling a sense of discontent.”
