Vancouver rapper Boslen has unveiled the visual for his collaboration with Charmaine, QUARTZ. Directed and produced by Natasha Dion, the visual places the rappers within the streets of Vancouver and Toronto, cruising in their luxurious cars.
Produced by justsayin, Stoopid Lou, and Dalton, QUARTZ serves as the third taste of the musicians forthcoming debut album DUSK to DAWN. Defying genre, the track expertly exhibits the rappers commanding vocals and expert wordplay, set atop textural and warped beats.
Speaking of the track, Bolsen shares: “QUARTZ is built on an aggressive rhythm. It’s one of my best flows. Charmaine and I let loose and this song bridges the gap between Toronto and Vancouver’s music scene.“
Fusing hip-hop, rock and pop together, Bolsen meticulously takes part in the production of all his tracks. His debut mixtape Motionless arrived in 2018, with its follow up Motionless II dropping months later. His debut EP Black Lotus peaked at #11 on the Canadian Apple Music streaming charts, with DUSK to DAWN set to continue Bolsen's unique take on self-reflective lyricism and genre-bending sonics.
QUARTZ is out now! Watch the visual below.
