BLISS N ESO ENLIST KASEY CHAMBERS ON 'GOOD PEOPLE' + ANNOUNCE NATIONAL TOUR!

Legendary Aussie hip-hop trio Bliss n Eso are treated fans with a bevy of news today! The trio have dropped their brand new single, Good People, which sees the hip-hop trailblazers team up with Aussie music royalty Kasey Chambers. If that wasn't enough, they've also announced a national headline tour slated for this June and July!

Kicking off at Sydney's Enmore Theatre on June 25, the tour will continue on to Adelaide, Fremantle and Brisbane, before wrapping up with two dates at Melbourne's 170 Russell. Of the upcoming run of performances, the trio share: “This is by far the longest break we’ve had from our home on stage. To say that we’re hungry for it doesn’t come close-we are gonna EAT that stage!! After 18 months of hell... who is ready to Send It!?!?”

Their latest release is an emotive burst of pop infused hip-hop that serves as a reminder of the value of camaraderie and forming close connections with good people. Working with Chambers was a natural progression for the trio, with the country singer having known the band since the formative days of their career.

Speaking of the collaboration, Eso shares: “Kasey, Nash and their mum and dad were all in a band together called The Dead Ringers at the time and we spent the night with the whole family recording beats and having laughs. Ever since then we have stayed in touch with Kasey and Nash, even while working on this current album Kasey would drop off homemade cookies to our studio for the whole crew to indulge. It was in these moments that we were creating ‘Good People’ and we needed a female singer to elevate the track, it didn’t take long to realise that the angel that was surprising us with cookies was not only the perfect choice but the actual personification of the song itself. Kasey loved the track, and the rest is history.”

Good People will make its live debut this Saturday when the trio take to the stage at Sidney Myer Music Bowl for this year’s Music From The Home Front, a concert on Anzac Day eve that will be broadcast live on Channel 9. You can catch the event on Channel 9 and 9NOW (7.30PM) + YouTube (7.30pm AEST), this Saturday April 24.

Good People is out now! Listen to the track below.
