Music superstar Billie Eilish has announced a number of new dates for her Australian tour! The GRAMMY Award winner has added dates in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, with each city now set to host the singer for two performances. The tour marks Eilish's first visit to Australia since her sold-out 2019 tour.

Kicking off in Sydney on September 13, the Happier Than Ever Tour will continue on to Brisbane and Melbourne, and will now wrap up in Perth on September 30. The singer will also stop over in New Zealand prior to commencing her Australian tour, taking to the stage in Auckland on September 8. The singer shared on social media, "AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND I'M COMING BACK I CAN'T WAAAAAIT."

The tour comes off the back of the release of Eilish's highly anticipated sophomore album, Happier Than Ever. Written in full by the 19-year-old and her brother FINNEAS who produced the album in Los Angeles, the sixteen track release features the previously released singles Your Power, Lost Cause, NDA, my future and Therefore I Am. The record sees the singer flirt with new sonics, moving away from her signature twisted dark-pop sonics, instead dipping in and out of genres. Offering a modern take on old-Hollywood glamour, the singer has swapped out out dark and spine-chilling imagery for light and warm tones, showing a lighter side this time around whilst also commenting on serious themes.

2020 shaped up to be a massive year for Eilish, kicking off the year by taking home 6 Grammy® Awards. Eilish took home the awards for the ceremonies four most coveted categories, Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Shortly after, the singer took to the stage at the 92nd Oscars® to perform a stellar rendition of The Beatles’ Yesterday. If that wasn’t enough, Eilish topped the charts once again, this time being honoured with writing and recording the official James Bond theme song No Time To Die, for the forthcoming MGM/Eon Productions James Bond Motion Picture, No Time To Die.

Earlier this year, the singer unveiled her acclaimed documentary feature film Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry. Directed by award-winning filmmaker R.J. Cutler (Belushi, The September Issue, The War Room), Eilish collaborated with Apple Original Films on the documentary, in association with Interscope Films, Darkroom, This Machine and Lighthouse Management & Media. The film showcased the true coming-of-age story of the singer-songwriter and her rise to global superstardom.

Happier Than Ever is out now!
