Platinum-selling artist BANKS is back! The singer has today made her return with her new single, The Devil, written and co-produced by BANKS herself.

Conceptually, the track is an anthem about inner strength, and having control over your own demons, with the singer sharing it's "about rebirth and transformation into the forces of nature we were born to be.”

The release arrives alongside a jaw-dropping visual, creatively directed and co-directed by the singer, alongside Jenna Marsh. Inspired by the 1992 films, Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula, and the black comedy classic Death Becomes Her, the visual sees the singer take on an other worldly role, luring unsuspecting victims into their unfortunate fate.

Speaking of the visual, the musician shares: “this video represents the twisted, surreal, and playful world that I exist in as the devil. No demon can touch me as I am not tempted by their charm. Give me a rose and I’ll eat it. In this world, I hypnotize and stuff every demon in a box while I dance, fly, and play with my devil sisters. Someone write my new name down.”

Since her trailblazing debut album Goddess dropped in 2014, BANKS has earned more than 1.4 billion combined streams, performing globally on sold-out tours and some of the worlds largest festivals. The California-born artist, producer, songwriter and poet has broken away from major labels, embarking new and empowering era as an independent artist.
