British musician Arlo Parks has unveiled her highly highly anticipated debut album Collapsed In Sunbeams. The record features the previously released hit singles Hurt, Black Dog and Caroline.
Bringing her signature beguiling sound to the record, the album is a documentation of moments surrounding the singers adolescence and those who featured prominent in her formative years. Taking on a storytelling approach, there are moments fearless vulnerability and earnest empathy expressed though intricate, heartbreaking lyrics inspired by the artist's own poetry.
Speaking about her debut LP, Arlo says "My album is a series of vignettes and intimate portraits surrounding my adolescence and the people that shaped it. It is rooted in storytelling and nostalgia - I want it to feel both universal and hyper specific."
Parks recently stared in the Gus Van Sant directed campaign for Gucci, alongside Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Florence Welch and more, and has also been been named an ambassador for the British mental health charity, CALM. She appeared on Glass Animals single Tangerine and also lent her vocals to Fraser T. Smith's latest track Strangers In The Night.
