APRIL SUN DROP SECOND LINE UP ANNOUNCEMENT

Set to take over St Kilda next month, April Sun is about to get a whole lot bigger with the announcement of a slew of new artists set to take to the stage! The event will host a variety of headline concerts, mini-festivals, day parties and family programming, featuring Australia’s finest to satisfy the many and varied palates of Melbourne music lovers.


Leading the line up is psych-guitar masters The Church, who have 25 albums under their belt spread across 40 year career. Joining The Church will be ARIA-winning Bob Evans, the musical alter ego of Jebediah’s Kevin Mitchell, Grammy award-winning, international chart-topping British music legend Leo Sayer, Australia’s beloved singer Marcia Hines, Melbourne’s queen of soul Kylie Auldist, award-winning producer/artist Opiuo and Canberra’s electronic producer BLANKE



Taking place in the grounds of the St Kilda Triangle, the second wave of artists will join the likes of G FLIP, Touch Sensitive, Sycco, Thomas Headon, You Am I, Magic Dirt, Dallas Crane, The Casanovas, Thick As Thieves, Cosmo’s Midnight, Eves Karydas, ASHWARYA, PRICIE, CHILLINIT, Hiatus Kaiyote, Grievous Bodily Calm, Harvey Sutherland and Kee’ahn take to the stage, as well as events organised by Melbourne's iconic POOF DOOF. The space will be transformed into a live music venue at one of Australia's most iconic foreshore locations.


The most inclusive dance club in Australia, POOF DOOF are throwing a day party under their multi-coloured disco ball. Featuring the booty-shaking beats of Sneaky Sound System, the breathtaking beauty of Electric Fields, drag DJ duo Jawbreakers, Yo!Mafia, Sgt Slick, YUMMY plus so many more epic live acts, DJs and drag superstars to be announced.



April Sun aims to deliver a festival level presentation of quality content in a safe, comfortable and enjoyable format. All tickets are unreserved, with dancing in your seat is allowed and encouraged. Tickets are on sale for individual purchase, with each ticket is allocated to one of four zones.
