Eora/Sydney-based musician Andrew Lambrou has followed up his strong debut with a brand new banger, Lemonade. Continuing his sonic exploration of dark-pop, the track further cements the singers place as one of Australia's most gripping emerging artists
Produced by Dave Hammer (Lime Cordiale, Mia Rodriguez, Genesis Owusu, flowerkid) and Cyrus Villanueva, operatic harmonies are laced throughout the track, with a captivating bass line woven within an atmospheric and dynamic soundscape. The Greek-Cypriot singers commanding vocals and distinguished timbre once again ring through the track, as he navigates the memories of a sour relationship, whilst forming a sweet bond with a new flame.
Speaking of the track, Lambrou shares: “Lemonade represents knowing that good is around the corner, and that the perfect person is out there for everyone.”
After winning his first singing conception at the age of five, Lambrou launched his YouTube channel in his teens, uploading covers and original tracks whilst building up his ever-growing fan base. With 1.5 million followers across Tik Tok, Instagram and Youtube, Lambrou soon caught the attention of SONY ATV at the age of seventeen. Since then, he's been working away on crafting his own unique sound, recently signing to Michael Chugg and Andrew Stone's new label City Pop Records.
