Mercury Prize-winning, chart-topping band alt-J are back with their new album The Dream.

Across the thoughtful body of work, the band offer up a revitalised collection of songs, bringing together shades of light and dark mixed in with moments of beautify and intrigue. Inspired by 1980s Hollywood and true-crime stories, the album brings personal and intimate moments, whilst also offering up a satirical take on Hard Drive Gold. With intricate production laced throughout, we're met with mesmerising vocals and choral harmonies, accompanied by textural soundscapes driven by scintillating percussion and engaging guitar work.

alt-J have also announced their return to Aussie shores, bringing their The Dream Tour down under this September. Kicking off in Brisbane on September 20, the run of shows will continue on to Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide, before wrapping up in Perth on September 29. The trio will also visit New Zealand, performing in Auckland on September 17.

Speaking of their forthcoming Australian tour, the band share: "We are bringing The Dream Down Under. It’s been too long since we visited beautiful Australia and New Zealand. See you there in September 2022. Let’s have it.”

The Dream is out now!
