After nearly two decades of defying expectations in the pop-rock scene, All Time Low are entering a new chapter.
The multi-platinum Maryland four-piece have officially announced their tenth studio album, Everyone’s Talking!, set for release on October 17. The collection of songs is set to arrive via their own imprint Basement Noise Records in collaboration with Photo Finish Records/Virgin Music Group, and signals a confident return to form with a twist: full creative control, a sharpened edge, and just enough mischief to keep fans guessing.
Following the explosive debut single SUCKERPUNCH - which made its live premiere to over 25,000 fans at Warped Tour in DC - the band has now dropped its follow-up, The Weather, a punchy, retro-tinged cut that captures the awkwardness of nostalgia with a smirk - whilst leaning into their pop-punk roots while tipping the hat to classic rock 'n' roll energy.
Frontman Alex Gaskarth calls it “a cynical but playful concept” - exploring the uncomfortable familiarity of running into a former friend or partner and choosing to gloss over the emotional past in favour of small talk. That emotional restraint, packaged in a tight and infectious rock arrangement, creates an ironic tension. Rather than diving into what was, the song thrives in what isn’t said - making “The Weather” as much about avoidance as it is about memory.
With crisp drums, driving guitars, and a sing-along chorus, it feels like classic All Time Low, but older, wiser, and just a bit more self-aware. It’s the sound of a band that knows exactly who they are, and who are not afraid to poke fun at the discomfort of growing up.
Everyone’s Talking! is out October 17.
